What to wear on Thanksgiving day
HI! 🍂🍂
Thanksgiving has been top of mind all Fall but I’ve finally gotten around to putting some of my thoughts together. Once my flight home is booked, the real prep begins, aka finding something to wear.
Whether you’re getting dressed up, lounging around the house or planning to help in the kitchen, here’s a few outfit ideas for every kind of Thanksgiving day.
Dressed Up
I will forever be over-dressed at Thanksgiving because sitting around the house with family is a lot more fun when you like your outfit.
This Gap dress ($94) would also be perfect for the Holidays with a sweater. I also love this Few Moda number that looks like Dôen for half of the price. Wear it with this clutch that I’m eyeing for myself!
Dressed Down
Zara Short-Sleeve Sweater - Sizes are limited but hopefully they will restock!
GAP Sheer Skirt - I love this sheer skirt from Gap. Jury’s out on the quality but I think you’d wear all holiday season.
Rag & Bone Cuff Jeans - These jeans have been sitting in my Shopbop favorites this fall and they’re even cuter with the matching jacket (on sale)!
Polo Ralph Lauren Denim Jacket - On my wishlist! Linking a more affordable option here.
Kate Shorts - Found these shorts through an Instagram ad and they know how to get me.
Larroudé Suede Flats - I just love these. Christmas list!
Corduroy Flare Pants - Wear them with this sweater.
THE GREAT Collar Sweater - I got this sweater for Christmas last year and wear it constantly.
Corduroy Midi Skirt - Very intrigued by this skirt and honestly a lot of pieces at Banana Republic right now. Almost ordered it last week and now it’s OOS :( Will stalk and report back.
Dôen Wool Cardigan - Afraid of the price tag so linking similar. Zara has great sweaters right now (linked on ShopMy) BUT Dôen is splurge-worthy imo.
Satin Pants - I wear my silk pants non-stop! La Ligne makes my favorite.
After Dinner
I’ve been obsessed with the Gap “cashsoft” sets since last year, and they’re definitely going in my suitcase for Thanksgiving. I stalked the site waiting for the grey cable knit to restock and it’s fully available now! I’ve got my eye on this zip-up too (and it’s on sale!).
I’ve had my sets for a while and they’ve held up really well but I always air dry them instead of throwing them in the dryer. This is my go-to airport uniform in the winter because it truly feels like I’m wearing a blanket.
